Tiffany's Story
Tiffany was born and raised in Manitoba, just outside the capital of Winnipeg. She moved to Ottawa at the age of 9 and has resided here ever since! Throughout her life, she has always been organized, quiet, and resourceful so it was no coincidence that she became interested in managing events. Tiffany graduated from Carleton University in 2016, and will soon graduate Algonquin College in 2019. Her biggest passion in the event industry is musical events, and hopes to be involved in the community in the near future. Her favourite part about the Caribbean is the awesome music and great vibes!
Lianna's Story
Lianna grew up in a small town west of Ottawa called Pakenham. After highschool, she attended Algonquin College where she graduated with her ECE and Pre-Nursing. After taking two years off, she followed her passion and is now enrolled at Algonquin College in the Event Management Program. She loves creating events so she can put her creativity to work, create new ideas, and show her strong attention to detail. She can’t wait to learn what the event industry has to offer for her career. She loves the Caribbean for its beautiful hot weather and sipping on a drink by the ocean.
Jessica's Story
Jessica was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario (Go Sens!) She entered the Event Management Program after trying many different programs including Paralegal, Police Foundations and Chef Training. She's excited to be planning the WISH event and loves the program for how it allows her to put her amazing creativity and excellent list making skills to good use. Jessica's three favourite things are EVERYTHING Disney, traveling to and discovering new places and celebrating the Christmas season. She loves the Caribbean for the beautiful beaches and swaying palm trees. Cruising is her favourite way to experience the Caribbean.
Amanda's Story
I love being outdoors, entertaining/ hosting gatherings for my friends and family. I like to read, listen to music and going for walks with my dog. I love the Caribbean because it is a welcoming and inviting place.
Darshan's Story
Anh's Story
Anh was born and raised in Vietnam, a small country in Southeast Asia. Over the past 4 years, she has studied International Communications at Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. She has participated in many different types of events throughout the program and realized that’s what she wants to do for her future. Anh decided to take a big step and travel to Canada to study Event Management at Algonquin College. She loves Caribbean in term of its nature and culture.
Darshan grew up in small town north of India called Jajanpur. After graduating in Hospitality Management, he travelled to Canada to further his studies and pursue his career in Event Management at Algonquin College. He has planned various events and functions over the course of his career. His understanding ability and knowledge has been a huge asset for his success. He loves creating different events with new and innovative ideas. He loves the Caribbean for its colourful environment and elements of entertainment.
Miranda grew up in Whitby Ontario about 4 hours from Ottawa. She attended Durham College after high school where she got a Journalism Diploma. She took a couple years off to work, save money and travel before she decided to go back to school. She choose the Event Management program because she loves festivals and music events and wants to work behind the scenes running them. Her favourite part of the Caribbean is scuba diving and snorkelling and exploring all the life that live under the sea! She is so excited to be a part of this amazing event!
